Tanish:
Tanish is a dialect of English.

Background
Tanish was conceived in the House of Tan, then promulgated by various associates and retainers.

Induction
One fateful night, just before dinner, a historic event took place in N's room. Je and Vi had just baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies, and a tasting was to take place. Je, ever magnanimous, elected to sample the first cookie. N simultaneously tried a taste of a second.
Je: Man, this cookie is raaaaaaaaawww.

N: No man. This isn't raw. It's reeeeeeeeeeeeeuw.
Usage
The use of Tanish is simple and can be applied ubiquitously. Simply replace all vowels in any word with long "e" sounds. Unsurprisingly, Tanish is heavily used in Counter-Strike.

ex: Boost the bomb! --> BEEEEEEEST the BEEEEEEEMB!
ex: Plant it on his head --> Pleeeent eet eeen heees heeeeeeeeeeed
ex: Rush the house --> Reeeesh the heeeeese
ex: Double left --> Deeeeeble leeeeeft

In addition, Tanish is often employed in a corrective sentence to accentuate complete agreement.
ex:
K: Yo man, these McSnicks are fresh.

N: Negative. These McSnicks are freeeeeeesh.

ex:
Je: Guy, that play was smooth.

G: No man, that was smeeeeeeeeeeth.
It should be noted that Tanish applies to proper nouns, nicknames, and names.

ex: Quiznos --> QEEEEEZNEEEEEEES
ex: Ash Tray --> Eeeeesh Treeeee
ex: Ruth --> Reeeeth, or Reeeeeet

There are crucial caveats to the use of Tanish. First, for obvious reasons, Tanish has a tendency to create homonyms. This is extremely dangerous, as use of Tanish may lead to gross misunderstandings. Thus, it cannot be stressed enough that clear body language is necessary in conjuction with spoken Tanish.

ex: EEEN MEEERE TEEEEL
--> one more tale?
--> one mortal?
--> ian more tall?
--> on myrtle?
--> own mare tail?

Obviously, gestures would clarify this statement, regardless of the intended interpretation. The second caveat is that Tanish is strictly an English dialect. Similar applications to Cantonese or Mandarin lead to highly undesirable outcomes (raging parents, strangers, foreigners, etc).

Pow pow (pou pou): interj.
Pow pow is one of the rare onomatopoeia terms in the lexicon.

Background
Like many other HSL terms, pow pow can be traced to Counter-Strike. It is the sound that the Dual 96G Elite Berettas (terrorist only) make when fired.

Induction
Pow pow is indisputably sourced to Kgow (aka K9, youngest of the HoL, and not to be confused with K). It is often accompanied by double-barrelled finger pistol gestures, with recoil.

Usage
Pow pow is used in direct reference to dualies when discussing Counter-Strike.

ex: Headshot, oh yeah, pow pow.

Pow pow can also be used as a celebratory or bragging expression following meritorious action.

ex: Oh yeah, bases loaded triple, pow pow.
